Mia: Don’t you hate that?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it’s necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don’t know. That’s a good question.
Mia: That’s when you know you’ve found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.
With the release of Pulp Fiction on Blu-Ray comes a story Quentin Tarantino has been waiting over a decade and a half to share with the world. Join Mia and Vincent as they share a five dollar milkshake and a comfortable silence of an hour and a half meal. Unlike anything you’ve seen before, this film is two people enjoying a meal without all the pretense and need for conversation. You’ll wonder how you’ll ever see another movie with dialogue again.
Comfortable Silence is the story of an expensive dinner had in comfortable silence then the silence becomes too much and gets uncomfortable then becomes comfortable again. Ebbs and flows kind of thing, in the only way Tarantino can. Also, there is bloodshed.
