Dear Prudence: The First Draft
Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play? Greet the brand new day? The sun is out, the sky is blue, it’s beautiful and so are you. OK, seriously Prudence stop being such a bitch and come outside. Alright, that may have been a bit harsh. Dear Prudence, open up your eyes- see the sunny skies. The wind is low, the birds will sing that you are part of everything. Dear Prudence, won’t you open up your eyes? Why does everything have to be about you Prudence? Can’t you see we all got up early to come over here to pick you up and you won’t even come out to play? What the hell, man? If you decide to stop being such an asshole, we’ll be at the Waffle House. Look around, ’round, ’round, ’round- we’ll be at a table in the back. Dear Prudence, we need money for gas. Look around, ’round, ’round the room for my wallet. Dear Prudence, won’t you come out play? Come on gurl, greet the brand new day.
