Rejected Book Plots

Not every book can be the next Twilight

Don’t Panic: Up in the Air Edition

“Anybody who ever built an empire, or changed the world, sat where you are now. And it’s *because* they sat there that they were able to do it.”

Shell is a girl who just became a causality of the war on everyone’s wallets or the “economic crisis” as Fox News likes to call it. After four years and climbing as high as she could, her job became redundant and she was let go. Not really knowing where to start she decides to cover her apartment in motivational Post-it as a reminder “Don’t Panic” until every space was covered and there were no more words left for inspiration and she was forced to find her place in the work force.

Can Shell stop writing Post-its and blog posts and figure her life out? Will she build a fort and pretend none of this happened? Don’t Panic: Up in the Air Edition is the story of a girl who is just trying to figure her shit out before she drowns in her own self-deprecation. (But there will be cameos of robots and dinosaurs so it isn’t a complete downer)
