Rejected Book Plots

Not every book can be the next Twilight

Twice

In the follow-up to the widely successful indie film Once comes the sequel: Twice. In Twice we pick up a few weeks after Guy leaves for London. Frustrated by his once in a lifetime love experience never getting off the ground and the fact he gave the girl a piano and got nothing in return, Guy returns from London to fight for the Girl.

Can he break up a marriage to make sweet music with the girl he barely knows? When he goes back and learns she’s a gypsy who gets musicians to fall for her and buy her musical instruments before claiming her estranged husband is coming back into town, will Guy be forever lost? What will become of the broken hearted hoover fixer sucker guy? Twice is a story of love and music and Hollywood cashing in on a successful movie by making an unnecessary sequel where the indie perfection is ripped out and replaced with a formulaic pop song.

In theaters Christmas 2012.
