Rejected Book Plots

Not every book can be the next Twilight

Michell’ Keller and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

In a follow-up to Judith Viorst classic tale of a boy who just can’t get in right comes a coming-of-age tale of a twenty-something girl who also, can’t get it right.

Swapping out gum in hair for an alarm that forgets to go off, this is a tale you’ll feel like you experienced in your own life.

After waking up late, Michell’ has the worst coffee of her life followed by a mound of phone calls that didn’t get completed by her staff. The day only goes further downhill as she is forced to travel to another office location to sort through statements and put them in some sort of recognizable order. Even the slightest request seems daunting on this day.

Michell’ Keller and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is a comedic look at just what it is like to be a twenty-something, managing an office…on a Monday.
